It works pretty good, although the .rip files it makes tend to be quite large so you've got to start with a pretty small . PCX . I used my 10 year old hand scanner to scan a photo of myself as a .tif The only graphics package I have that supports my type of .tif is GWS for DOS. I converted in GWS to a . gif because GWS saves . pox file PACKED and PCX2RIP doesn't support those. I then loaded the .gif file onto a 640 x 350 16 color screen in NEOPAINT. There I cropped it, scaled it, and saved it as an UNPACKED . PCX. The final image is about 120 x 160 pixels and converted to almost 7K as a .rip file. It took about 10 minutes for the whole project .....
